Welcome to the Village of Stockbridge! The Village of Stockbridge was founded in 1835 and incorporated in 1889. The Village of Stockbridge is incorporated as a General Law Village with a Council/Manager form of government.
The Village of Stockbridge is placed snuggly between Lansing, home of the MSU Spartans and our State's Capital, and Ann Arbor home of the U of M Wolverines.
The Village has a little of something for everyone - from Antiques, flowers, restaurants and much more.
Each year the Chamber of Commerce hosts over Father's Day weekend "A Day in the Village" which features everything from crafts, food, fireworks, music and games; and the Village is also host to All Clubs Day in September and Winter Wonderland in November. Our newest event - "Saturday on the Square" brings a different acitivity, food, music and an outdoor movie all through August, September and October.
If you haven't been to Stockbridge in a while - we welcome you back; if you're new we would love to have you stop and stay a while. Please let us know if we can be of service to you during your visit. Stop in at the Village office or just give us a call at 517-851-7435.
